Subtitles that read like they were written, not translated.
Vocalix Studio turns Hindi audio and video into natural English subtitles — for creators, studios and OTT catalogues. Upload, review line by line, export broadcast‑ready captions.
Three steps between your footage and finished captions.
Upload anything long-form
Drop in audio or video — podcasts, lectures, vlogs, films. Vocalix handles multi-hour files without splitting them up.
We listen before we translate
The Hindi is transcribed first — idioms, code-switching, names and all — so the meaning is understood before a single word becomes English.
Read it back, then export
English subtitles paced for reading and timed to speech. Fix any line in the editor, then export SRT, VTT or captions burned into the video.
The difference is in the reading.
Word-for-word translation is technically correct and painful to read. Vocalix translates the way a bilingual writer would — meaning first, then the words.
Timed for reading, not just speech
Lines stay on screen long enough to actually be read, capped at a comfortable reading speed, broken where you'd naturally breathe.
Hinglish, handled
Creators switch between Hindi and English mid-sentence. Vocalix keeps the English you spoke as you spoke it, instead of translating it twice.
A glossary that sticks
Lock the spelling of names, places and brand terms once, and it holds across every episode of a series — no drifting transliterations.
An editor with context
Review each line beside the original audio. Change a word and the timing reflows around it — no juggling a separate subtitle tool.
“Vocalix has cut the time we spend on subtitles by 75%.”
Priced for catalogues, not clicks.
Vocalix Studio is built for teams with real volume — studios, OTT platforms, creator businesses. One agreement, a plan sized to your hours, and people you can actually reach.
Bring us your library.
We'll price it honestly.
You commit to the hours you expect and pay for those upfront; anything beyond it is billed at an agreed rate after the month ends. Rates fall as your volume grows, and long files get priority turnaround.
- A plan sized to your monthly hours
- Priority turnaround on long-form files
- A second human review pass, on request
- Shared workspaces for your whole team
- Invoicing, agreements and NDAs
Start with a pilot. Send us one file from your catalogue and see it back in English before you commit to anything.
Fair questions, straight answers.
Which files can I upload?
MP4, MOV, MKV, MP3, WAV and M4A, up to four hours per file. If it plays, it almost certainly works — and if a format trips us up, write in and we'll add it.
How long does a video take?
Well under the runtime. A 40-minute video is typically ready for review in a few minutes; long files process while you get on with other work, and we email you when the draft is up.
Can I edit the subtitles before exporting?
Always. Every line is editable next to its original audio, and timing adjusts around your changes. Nothing exports until you say it's ready.
What do I get at the end?
An SRT or VTT file for YouTube and players, or your video re-rendered with the captions burned in — styled, positioned and ready to publish.
Is my footage private?
Yes. Your files are visible only to your account, deleted whenever you ask, and never used to train anything. Unreleased footage stays unreleased.
Your catalogue could read this well.
